Story - This pure silk dupatta has sozni hand embroidery done across it to fill out the motiffs of the Story of Shakuntala with a filling of natural colored silk thread for Nakshi Kantha work, making the dupatta rich and heavy. This canvas has Shakuntala waiting for Dushyant (who was a king), to send for her as his Queen, she sees the ring he gave her and sings a beautiful song.

We have used traditional colors on a base of maroon colored silk with multi colored thread.

Malavika's Comments - Shakuntala is a story of love and then a love lost. It is beautiful in its rendition and makes an amazing piece to flaunt for any occasion.
